FACT mix 160 is the handiwork of irrepressible house hustler Justin Martin
Justin first rose to prominence on the back of hi releases for Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly, most notably ‘The Sad Piano’. With fellow San Fran-dweller Claude VonStroke as his mentor, he also found time to play a key role in the evolution of Dirtybird Records, contributing to its first four releases and honing a sound that combined a Euro-friendly sonic sophistication with a certain ghetto bounce. It’s the reason that Justin’s music has become a fixture in the boxes not just of techno DJs on the continent but also UK house DJs on the prowl for funky-compatible tracks.
