Boys Noize, who is all about finding new sounds, is known for his unique tracks that other DJs have found impossible to remix themselves. Not only has he released two albums of his own ("Oi Oi Oi" and "Power"), he has also created official remixes for the likes of Bloc Party, Depeche Mode, Tiga, Justice, and SebastiAn.
In this short feature VICE caught up with Boys Noize at the Pan Am Hotel in Berlin. The artist details his experience in the music industry. From humble beginnings playing sets in school lunchrooms as a teenager, he fully embraced digital technology and attributes that to his success.
Boys Noize believes that technology is ultimately what makes music exciting, with its' ability to transform and make new sounds of out the old.
